Caregivers or carers are in demand in Canada, Ireland, the UK, US, Isreal, Denmark and now even Japan. The number of people in their old age who need carers as their children can't take care of them as they too have to go to work, is increasing. The Filipinos being one of the most caring, compassionate and reliable people when it comes to taking care of the aged and the young are very much in demand in these countries. It is a great opportunity for Filipinos as the pay in these countries is higher than when they are just working in the country. However, the road to being a caregiver is not easy. You have to have the necessary training and pass some tests in order to acheive your goal. I have made a list of the Caregiver schools in Cebu City for those who want to get their training there and also for those who live in the neighboring cities and provinces.
