Celebrities need an e cigarette

This is the first year I’ve watched the Celebrity Apprentice. I was expecting lots of drama and I haven’t been disappointed. But instead of seeing a bunch of whiny, self centered, spoiled celebrities, I’ve actually seen real people, with real strengths and weaknesses, flaws and fabulousness.  The most stunning example is Dennis Rodman, a former star athlete falling who has fallen hard.  During the grueling tasks, Rodman drank to excess, was quarrelsome with his teammates and often did more harm than good.  When it came time for Donald to say “You’re Fired” it was clear to everyone but Dennis that he had a drinking problem and needed help.  It was actually sad listening to Dennis defend himself with accomplishments from his glory days with the NBA.  Those days are gone, but Dennis holds onto them as proof he is still worthy.  Today I saw news story that Dennis Rodman has agreed to outpatient rehab for alcohol addiction.  His family and friends attempted an intervention last week, but Rodman refused to go into a facility.  I wish him the best because no matter who he was or who he is, addiction is a terrible burden to carry.

I grew up with an alcoholic parent, so I avoid booze, refusing to walk in my father’s footsteps.  I did have an addiction to cigarettes for twenty years.  Just like an alcoholic, I denied my addiction, claiming I could quit anytime.  Unlike an alcoholic, I didn’t have a support system like rehab or AA to help me.  Fortunately I was able to use a little device called an electronic cigarette.  The device gave me a hit of nicotine when I needed it, without all the nasty side effects (stinky breath, stinky clothes, and yellow teeth) of tobacco cigarettes.   I just fill my RN4081 Cartridge with a little vanilla smoke juice and I don’t even want a tobacco cigarette any more. I didn’t want to live my life as a slave to big tobacco companies.  For the first time in years, I finally feel free.
