If you're like me, you didn't really need a cell phone until you got one. Ever since I got involved with cell phones I haven't been able to live without one! As useful as they are, though, they have their share of problems.
One of the most frustrating things about having a cell phone is having to deal with customer service. Whether I'm having a problem with the actual phone or with my mobile service, I'm bound to spend an hour wading through voice menus before I get the chance to speak to a real person, if I get to at all.
Fortunately, I've found an alternative way to get help with some issues, plus great resources for getting cool stuff (like ringtones, games, and graphics) and tips that the companies don't usually advertise. That alternative is forums dedicated to cell phone users, like SprintUsers and CellPhoneSignal (a forum for T-Mobile users, but it also has sections for Sprint, at&t, and Verizon).
These forums are made up of other cell phone users, and the topics range from phone reviews to rants, tips & tricks to free ringtones. These forums have been so useful that I've gotten to the point where I always check there before trying to go through customer service!
