Cell Phone Recorder

Anyone with a cell phone (or even a land line based phone, for that matter) has at times wished "if only I'd been able to record that call!" Just think of times you've forgotten phone numbers, directions or the like between hearing them over the phone and getting the opportunity to write them down or just get off the phone and make that call that you had been meaning to. It's frustrating, and a bit embarrassing when you have to call back to have something repeated. However, there are solutions to these problems; cell phone recorders exist and can be the solution to these problems.

Imagine being able to playback all of those conversations you can't quite recall. With a cell phone recorder, you can! Use it when that friend (we all have one) who is full of interesting facts and figures calls up, use it to remind you of things you need to follow up on and so on.

A lot of you may be wondering if this type of device is too complicated to set up or use. Nothing could be further from the truth. A cell phone recorder takes only seconds to set up and be ready to begin recording, even for the least technically inclined amongst us. Merely plug it in and it's ready to go. These recorders can capture both sides of a phone conversation, and have plenty of recording time (up to 266 hours!) so you don't have to worry about running out of space before you find time to listen to your recorded calls. As easy to use as they are convenient, you can rest assured.

Speaking of convenience, these recorders are equipped with a USB port, meaning you can upload the audio directly to your computer and listen while you get other things done. A built-in search function enables you to play just the first few seconds of each message, eliminating the need to waste time listening to entire messages while looking for the one you want. All of your recorded conversations are literally at your fingertips and available whenever you want to listen to them. All this ease and convenience comes in a small package (like good things do, according to the old adage); a cell phone recorder can be as small as a lighter, fitting easily into a pocket or purse. This is great for students wanting to record lectures, business people recording seminars or memos, any number of on-the-go applications are possible with these recorders.

Did you think these recorders were only for cell phones? Not at all! Besides their ability to record cell phones and sounds from the air, they can also record land line phone conversations. Just plug the recorder into any phone jack in the home or office, and record both sides of a conversation, just as with cell phones. We've only scratched the surface of the capabilities of these devices in this article, but if your interest has been piqued, a cell phone recorder may be just the thing you need.

Excellent info on cell phone recorders. Given the technology (small speaker/microphone) I've always wondered how difficult it was to actually make a recording. Kudos!
