Get Your Cell Phone A Screen Protector

If you are anything like me at all then all of your phones, gadgets and generally anything remotely vulnerable to abuse will in constant danger for their lives due to your careless and clumsy behaviour and the way they therefore often get treated. I can't count the number of cell phones, mp3 players and various other small portable electronic gadgets that I have damaged over the years. Of course you can never protect your cell phone from absolutely all eventualities - the phone I dropped down the toilet while checking the time a couple of years ago would probably have died whatever products I had got to give it extra protection from me - but there are cheap things you can do to give your phone a bit more of a fighting chance.

The cheapest and easiest thing is to get yourself a screen protector. The screen is generally the most vulnerable part of any phone, and a cheap screen can actually be quite a good protector for it. It aslo has the extra bonus of reducing glare and making the screen sharper and crisper to view in all conditions.

For the best price around you probably won't do better than buying from Amazon. Although you can get then specifically for 1 brand, the cheapest and best way is to just get a pack of the universal ones, which could also be handy if you have any other gadgets like games consoles which need protection too.

Not Enough Protection?

Another cheap and reliable option to give you another level of protection from damge is to get a rubber skin for your phone. This is particularly good if you have a habit of dropping things on the hard ground, and you can get them for most makes. Again the list below shows my pick of some of the toughest from the bestsellers list at Amazon but doesn't represent the whole range, so if you need one for a different handset then just click any link to get to the Amazon site and then search for exactly what you need.
