Looking to get cellulite laser treatment?  There are many different surgical treatments you can get to treat your cellulite, some more invasive than others, but regardless of which you pick, make sure it’s what you want as surgery is never something to be taken lightly.

There are plenty of simpler solutions such as creams and lotions to be found on the Internet, you may want to try those out first before you step into this realm.

However, if you are dead set on it, I think it’s important to not only go over cellulite laser treatment, but as well the various other comparable treatments so you have a better understanding of what your options are and what would be best for you to eventually try out.

As far as cellulite laser treatment Is concerned, what happens is a laser is used on the skin to heat up and break down the cellulite beneath the skin that is stuck in the connective tissues.  This is then suctioned out via a tube and the end result is a much improved look.  Your skin will look tighter and firmer than it did before and some say that there can be an improvement of upwards of 83% in your skins appearance depending upon the laser used and the treatment applied.

Now as great as those numbers seem, there are a few downsides to the cellulite laser treatment.  One of them is that it’s going to take 10-15 treatments in order to see those nice results we just spoke of.

Additionally, this is going to cost you quite a bit of money, it will cost you around $1,500 for all the treatments. Lastly, and most importantly, this treatment is not permanent! You are going to have to keep going in for cellulite laser treatment over and over again in order to keep your cellulite at a manageable level.

If you’re OK with all of the above, then for sure, go ahead and get yourself some laser treatment. If not, here are some other surgical methods to consider:

1. Liposuction

This is very similar to getting liposuction done with the intention of looking thinner, except in this case they’ll be targeting the cellulite. Cellulite is harder to get at though as it is under the skin and stuck in the connective tissues, it is for this reason that some believe this is not the best choice if you’re looking to reduce cellulite on your legs.

Liposuction is also even more costly than laser therapy at $3,000 to $5,000 a pop.

2. Mesotherapy

This is a unique treatment method which involves getting injections under the skin with a tattoo like needle. Basically a cocktail of natural remedies are injected in with the intention of dissolving the fat and metabolizing it. It is said that you can get a 40-50% improvement in the appearance of your cellulite from this treatment over the course of 3-4 sessions of this.

Whichever treatment method you do go with, be sure it is what you really want. Try looking around the Internet first for solutions that are less invasive, and if you’ve tried and exhausted those options, only then consider getting cellulite laser treatment or another such surgical treatment.
