Are you considering undergoing cellulite surgery?  Surgery is a serious thing to be considering and it is thus very important you learn all the facts before you go under the knife.

The first recommendation I would give you is to look for solutions that are not so invasive first.  There are many creams and lotions you can find on the Internet that will work just as well as surgery at getting rid of cellulite.

The way they work is by penetrating the skin and seeing as how the cellulite is right there, its able to get to work on it right away.  It ends up burning and metabolizing the fat there and thus allowing it to be burned off by the body.  But if you’re still curious about going through with some form of cellulite surgery, these are your options:

1.        Liposuction

Surprisingly, if you’re considering cellulite surgery, this may be one of the least effective ones to try out.  The reason I say this is because while liposuction does get rid of fatty deposits, it may not get rid of them from the right places.

You see cellulite isn’t found where doctors usually lipo patients.  Most of the time fatty deposits are taken from where they belong, not where they are trapped and causing the condition known as cellulite.

Thus if you go in for surgery, while you will take out some fat, you may not be taking it out from the problem areas which is directly under the skin, where it is trapped in your connective tissues.

But you can still consider doing this if you have $3,000 - $5,000 lying around and you feel like giving it an honest shot.

1. Laser Therapy

One of the more effective forms of cellulite surgery involves laser therapy. With this form of treatment, patients can expect to see improvements of up to 83%, dimpling can be drastically reduced and the dreaded orange skin peel effect can be made to be almost non-existent.

Now that sounds all well and good, except for the fact that the surgery will cost a grand total of $1,500 and that it will take between 10-15 sessions before you get to that point!

To make matters worse, this is by no means a permanent solution, you’re going to have to keep going in for treatments to maintain the results you’ve gotten.

If this doesn’t bother you in the least though, maybe this form of cellulite therapy is for you after all.

2. Mesotherapy

Another form of cellulite surgery is mesotherapy or “micro-surgery”. What happens here is a needle is placed under the skin where circulation boosting treatment is administered. By having this done 1-2 times a week for 4-8 weeks, you can see a reduction of anywhere from 40-50% of all cellulite.

Now again, surgery should be a last resort, I would highly recommend you check the Internet for creams or other non-invasive treatments before considering this.
