Celtic basic health coverage- This is a low premium plan. Basic health coverage plan offers a basic benefit structure. The basic plan covers 2 doctor visits per year with $30 co-pay and $200 wellness benefit which is eligible after 12 months of Celtic basic plan coverage. Basic plan operates within the PPO network with 80/20 coinsurance. The deductible choices are $1,500, $2,500 or $5,000. The maximum lifetime coverage under this plan is $5 million. Celtic basic health coverage plan is ideal for individuals who want quality health care coverage with minimum premium. Self-employed individuals and young adults prefer this health insurance plan.

Celtic comprehensive health plan- There are three types of Celtic comprehensive health plans that customers can choose from. They are Celticare preferred select PPO, Celticare preferred “Any Doc” PPO and Celticare preferred managed indemnity. Comprehensive health plan covers people aged between 6 months and 64 ½ years and their families. In this plan consumer can go for either 80/20 coinsurance or 100% coinsurance. Deductible offered under comprehensive health coverage plan are $500-$5000. While Celticare preferred select PPO operates within hospital and doctor network, the Celticare preferred ‘Any Doc’ PPO offers the flexibility of selecting the doctor as per the costumer’s preference. Only the hospitals should be within the network to get the full benefit of the plan. Celticare preferred managed indemnity gives complete liberty to the costumer to choose the doctor as well as the hospital. Among the three plans of comprehensive health care Celtic preferred select PPO plan offers minimum premium and $15 co-pay per doctor visit and $20 co-pay for generic prescription drugs. “Any-Doc” plan also offers $20 co-pay for prescription drugs. However, the doctor visit co-pay is $35

HSA qualified health plans- HSA qualified health plans like CelticSaver HSA is high deductible plan with the option to open a Health Savings Account (HSA). These policy holders are entitled for unique tax advantages. High deductible plan for individuals and families vary. HSA qualified health coverage is only for people aged between 18 years and 64 ½ years. This plan also offers PPO and HSA managed indemnity.

Short term medical insurance and Student health insurance are ideal as temporary health insurance for people who are either students or are just in between college and their first job.

    How come no one is mentioning how much the new health care insurance is going to cost each person if they buy it? Being that it is a government secret, I presume it's not affordable to most of us but we will be forced to buy it anyway.
