Celtic Woman--Voices Like Angels

From the very beginning, the group, Celtic Woman, has been a success, holding the coveted Number 1 position on the Billboard World Music Charts for an astonishing 95 weeks.

And it's not surprising. Combine haunting violin music with angelic voices and you have music that transcends boundaries and connects to a worldwide audience. Celtic Woman's CDs have gone Platinum and Gold.

The group was the brainchild of David Downes (Musical Composer-Director) and Dave Kavanagh (Executive Producer).

Celtic Woman's PBS special touched a huge audience; appearances on the Today Show and the Megan Mullay show showcased Celtic Woman's unique talent to network audiences.

The performers held a live T.V. special, "A New Journey," at Slane Castle, an apt setting for Irish music and Celtic culture.
