Just the thought of getting a crown fitted may scare many people. Equally, the pain may frighten some to the point that they will wait as long as they can before they go in and visit with a dentist. A Cerec dentist is able to complete crowns in one office visit. This utilizes more time for other things. Yet, it cuts down on the amount of money the patient has to pay, as well as the amount of wait time of having to go back and forth to the dentist to complete the procedure. It is sometimes a hassle on both ends.

It drastically cuts the whole completion time down in nearly half. This is because getting a regular crown would require the patient to come back to the dentist a second time, once the procelin and crown has been molded. Then they can fit the crown over the teeth, or do what needs to be done to the teeth. However, if a cerec dentist who has superb and highly qualified creditentials, performs the crown with the newer technology, then the patient gets his/her crown done the same day. The crown can be fitted and molded while the patient waits and once it is completed, the patient may go home, and not have to come back a second time. The procedure then completed.
