Back in the pre-internet days I was visiting a friend at college and we could not remember the name of the Bartender on the Love Boat (already an old show). My friend picked up the phone and got an immediate answer. Finally! His college had an "answers line" manned by students who seemed to know it all. I loved the idea and am so happy to hear that someone is finally doing this again! ChaCha sounds great and you never know when you are going to need it!

I haven't known for this very useful service, at all. It is truly so very useful. So many times, when I am not close to the Google I am struggling by seeking a missing information in my mind. Yes, ChaCha is free! I couldn't believe that fact myself, but ChaCha is free to all users! We played around last night and asked them all kinds of things...ChaCha has the answers! Try it and let me know what you think.
I "work" for cha cha once in a while. I started when I thought I was going to be able to take the summer off from my normal job, but then it didn't work out. I still log on every now and then. Make sure to keep in mind that if you text back about your answer, you won't get the same person. You can't have a converstation with the Cha cha person for that very reason. lol.

I work for ChaCha on the side and love it. Its not bank breaking money but it does help to buy gas (well maybe not for long). I agree it is a great service and I love the questions that I have to answer!! Great Hub!!

I think they're triyng to do this here i nthe UK with those ridiculous 118 guys. dial 118 118 and ask it a question to get an answer that costs god knows what. or, just google it.

ChaCha is free as of right now. I was skeptical myself about that, but learned they make the money from advertisers some how. Only time will tell I suppose. For now ChaCha seems to have all the answers!

Amy Jane, Isaac Washington, the Love Boat bartender poured a mean "Bamama Mama" back in the day! I think he was mixing and moonlighting love potions on the side. Extra shots of rum, that'll work! Anyway, I was once interested in being one of those ChaCha people with the answers, so I called with a question to find out what an answer person would say if I asked, "What's the average response time for answering a question?" Thinking maybe I would freak if I couldn't cut the mustard and be unable to answer questions posed to me in time or at all. The answer guy text me with a reply. "It depends," he said, "need more specifics." Then I realized there was nothing to fear, but I never did apply as a ChaCha answer man.
I'm a ChaCha guide and I LOVE IT! Besides getting the occasional crude question, it is a pretty fun gig. I do it at night when my babes are asleep, my husband is away, and I'm just dinking around on the computer or watching a movie. I am a current ChaCha Guide and it is annoying when you get the "kids" writing in about stupid sex stuff. (what is the normal size of a penis? Does jenny like me? How come my armpits stink?). It's good when you get actual questions but the pranksters are crazy. I would say 80% of the questions I answer are non-sense questions. It's fun though and I'm making some money. Great Hub!!!!

My daughter Cha-Cha's everything. While we're out shopping she texts Cha-Cha to find out the store hours or the address for places. Her dad made some comment the other day about KISS holding some record for concert attendence. She Cha-cha'd it and found out dad was wrong. LOL It's really cool!
