Swarovski crystals are crystal glass stones originally produced in Austria in the late 1800's when the company was originally founded. Other items, besides jewelry, are made from Swarovski crystals including their very famous collectibles, some of which sell for thousands of dollars. Many different brands of jewelry use the sparkling Swarovski crystal gems in their pieces, including Chamilia. Chamilia has a dazzling set of charms and links that are set with Swarovski crystals, which are really very stunning, and also extremely creative.

Swarovski crystals are not limited to white or clear only, but are made in many different colors allowing this same color to highlight specific areas on these charms, sometimes to a really interesting effect. For example, there is a gorgeous silver strawberry charm, where all the strawberry seeds are tiny little red Swarovski crystals, and there's the silver camera with a clear Swarovski crystal lense--both very cute charms.

Chamilia jewelry uses the Swarovski crystal for its birthstone charms. There are two different styles of birthstone charms. The first type of Chamilia birthstone charms are small heart shaped silver charms with a circular birthstone, colored to match the month of birth, set in the middle of the charm.

The second type of Chamilia birthstone charm is a silver, circular birthstone charm with the Swarovski charms set all the way around the charm, on the band. Again, the stones are available in different colors, matching the color of the birthstone for each month.

There is a different colored charm for each month:

• January: Red
• February: Pink
• March: Aqua
• April: Diamond
• May: Green
• June: Pearl
• July: Red
• August: Light green
• September: Blue
• October: Pearl colored
• November: Deep gold
• December: Teal

There are quite a few standard type designs of Chamilia Swarovski charms, with many heart shaped charms that are perfect for a man to give as a gift to his girlfriend. They also make a great gift when a woman announces her engagement, or on Valentine's day. There are also quite a few flower designed Chamilia charms such as the Chamilia floral with the clear Swarovski crystal, which is basically a silver charm with intricate designs on the charm itself and a Swarovski crystal set in the middle in an oval setting. There is also the Chamilia Pearl petals with a clear Swarovski charm in the middle, and that particular Chamilia charm is quite a favourite of mine, as it is one of the more delicately designed of the Swarovski set.

The Chamilia Band Charms are smaller than some of the other charms, a simple looking band that is set with different colored Swarovski crystals. Some of these charms have all one colored crystals, while others have different colored crystals on the one charm. You can simply choose from a selection, basing your decision on what looks the nicest to you and what would fit the best on your bracelet.

There is also another set of charms, the disco ball charms that look just like a disco ball with lights! Only in this case the lights are small Swarovski crystals that are set into the ball-shaped charm. There is a variety of different color sets to choose from with this particular bead, including pink and white; pink, white and blue; green, brown and white to name just a few. These particular charms would certainly sparkle once in the light!

Of course there are also quite a few very unique, cute and impressive special charms, that have been crafted using the Swarovski crystals to highlight a specific point on the charm. Of course I do have my favourites amongst these, with I think my all time favourite being the Pinot Grigio Swarovski charm. This particular charm is made of two wine glasses with Pinot etched on one glass, and Grigio on the other glass. Two Swarovski crystals set on top of the crafted glasses to give the illusion of their being filled with wine.

The Chamilia lucky clover charm would be a great charm to give on St. Patricks Day. It is crafted in the shape of a four leaved clover with small dark green Swarovski crystals set on each leaf. Very cute, and no charm bracelet should be complete without its own lucky clover charm.

The Chamilia Painter's Pallete is also a gorgeous and very unique charm that would be perfect to give as a gift to someone who paints or who is interested in art.  Of course the charm would look great on any woman's charm bracelet.  It is, naturally, a painter's pallete with small different sized, colored Swarovski crystals set like paint around one side of it.

Then there are the Swarovski animal kingdom charms. The Chamilia snake charm is designed to look just like a snake curling around with a blue stone set in the middle. The Robin's nest charm is a very cute charm to add to your bracelet.  The next is made from silver, and the tiny eggs in the nest are made from Swarovski crystals. The rather outstanding Chamilia fish charm is a wide mouthed fish, set with orange Swarovski crystals that could almost be taken for a goldfish.  There is also a charm set with pink Swarovski crystals that looks just like a butterfly with its wings outstretched.  I rather like the Chamilia ladybug charm too, a cutely crafted little silver ladybug set with red Swarovski crystals spotted all over its back.

Chamilia also used the Swarovski crystals in their special day charms, using a pink Swarovski crystal in their Breast Cancer ribbon charm, and on their Happy Birthday Cake.

If you are looking to add a touch of color to your Chamilia charm bracelet, you really should check out their array of Swarovski crystal charms. Most are set in Sterling silver, and the charms themselves are some of the more reasonably priced Chamilia Charms there are, especially considering that you do get a very nice looking charm to add to your bracelet. If you want the traditional type charms they have those, or if you're looking to add a bit of personality to your bracelet there are plenty of special charms to choose from as well.
