Discovering How You Can Easily Change Oil Filter (FREE)
64The Power To Change Oil Filter By Yourself
Changing Your Own Oil Filter Can Be Sexy & Save Cash!
There are people that say that it is more important to change your oil
filter than to change your oil. They would say that the oil molecule
does not break down and that if you are changing your oil filter
regularly, your engine will operate smoothly and your oil will be
clean. But I do not want to get into whether oile should or should not
be changed, but rather I want to talk about changing the oil filter.
To remove your oil filter is usually found near the lower part of the
engine near the oil pan. I may need to have a wrench that is designed
to take off oile filters. You musst turn the oil filter in a counter
clockwise movement to remove the filter. At this point, depending on
how you are positioned to remove the filter you may need some
protective eyewear and perhaps some rubber gloves to keep your hands
clean.
Most people will remove or drain the old oil at this time and get rid
of it at a drop site for old oil. After removing the old oil filter
clean the seal and make certain that you will have a clean seal for the
new filter. It is suggested that you take your finger and rub some new
clean oil on the new gasket before you tighten it into place. Most of the time changing oil is simple and can save you money.
Occasionally the car manufacture will put the oil filter in an area
that is very difficult to reach. An in some rare cases, you may need to
have the filter chanced by a mechanic. Don't be afraid to ask for help
from the local auto parts store or from a mechanic that you trust.
After you have finished the job be sure that you check under the car
for any signs of oil leaks or drips. If you become a self oil and
filter changer you will save a grea deal of money and your car will be
happy with the regularity that you change the filter and even the oil. Smooth running and better mileage to you.

Hi Lee.
Thank you for this hub. You did a good job describing how it's done, so I'm off the garage to see if I can see my oil filter. I'm always on-board with saving money or learning how to take better care of something.
My husband, on the other hand, wants to hire the ladies in the picture...
This hub has something for everyone. lol. Nice work.
I'll have to think about this one!
It strikes me those two girls would be handy.
Sex sells, so they say, but I just want the filter changed.
These girls can make me DRINK THE OIL not to change it.HA HA HA
With those sexy girls around, some guys might think of not only changing oil filter but some other things as well? Ha ha ha. Nice hub!
LOL the pic is quite sexy, but for the cost of job below $15 I would rather don;t get my hands dirty. Just a suitable bucket for oil draining probably will cost you the same $15, and then you'll have a hard time delivering it to a dumping site without spoiling it all over your car LOL
Thank you, this particular job I would rather outsource :)
I wish we did have auto mechanic such a those above this hub.
Cleavage and so much more. I'd like to be behind them when they're bent over the engine for ten minutes or so. LOL
