This is a nice, solid card for people with good credit or people looking for a balance transfer card.

Here's a short notice on what balance transfer is: When you get debt on a credit card, you can sometimes transfer it to a new card and the new card will give you better conditions of repaying that debt than the old card. That's balance transfer. I could write an article on it soon too.

Good sides:

• You have no annual fee for your Chase Platinum Visa Card
• Good as a balance transfer card (0% APR for balance transfer for up to 12 months)
• Low rates
• Benefits of having a platinum

Bad sides:

• Chase Platinum Visa Card is pretty hard to get at the moment (your chances get higher the higher rating you have, of course)
• 0% APR for balance transfer has some conditions to be met (still, if you pay on time and have good rating etc. - you have a better chance of using better your 0% APR balance transfer period)

What is offers:

• Credit line increases
• Online account access and online statements
• Grace period of 20 days
• There are some usual platinum benefits (car and travel insurances and similar)

Summary

I haven't heard any particularly bad things or reviews about Chase Platinum Visa Card and it does look decent - as a balance transfer card or otherwise. You need to have a pretty good credit to be able to obtain this card. Today, with what is called "the crisis" around, it's increasingly harder to get approved, but it's very possible, of course.
