Well Halloween is just about here. Its is just two months and you just do not want to spend too much money on the Halloween costumes then go for the cheap Halloween costumes and I have a lot of tips on how to dress up yourself as well as your kids in those affordable costumes rather than the expensive ones.  

Plan early – I know that this is a bit challenging but if you need to get those discounted prices then go for the clearance sales after the Halloween is over and you will get very good dresses for the discounted prices online and offline both. There are thousands of stores online who have all the costumes that are a rage this year. Who knows whether they will be the rage next year or not? So select those costumes which will be probably not that much of rage next year. DO not go for the standard costumes which are evergreen as in general there will never be discounts on them.  

Homemade is the best – This one again is a challenging thing but very cost effective. You can use all your old dresses which you will probably never wear and will throw them off. There are thousands of sites online which will tell you all about the do it yourself Halloween costumes. Read those and get an idea and hey there you will have some good costumes at absolutely zilch prices.  

Note – I will suggest that you get the mask from a store as that will just take that focus ways from the dress and you will have a costume at discounted prices. Again the mask can also be made at home but is a bit challenging so it is better procured from the shop.

In some neighborhood the costumes are swapped so that every body ends with the new costumes for the next year. You can even think of organizing that in your neighborhood so that you can get the new style and other kids have the new costume too.
