Cheap Pay As you Go Mobile Phones

If you want to find the best deal for cheap phones then my top tip is to use a mobile phone comparison engine which will compare prices from all suppliers, as well as allowing you to search for the specifications you want or even for your choice of free gift! Just click either of the links in this parapgraph to take you to one.

Otherwise, here is some inspiration with my reviews of some of the best cheap mobile phone handsets:

Nokia 2630

If you are willing to shop around, or use a comparison engine, then you can get this phone very cheap indeed. It really shows how far the technology has come in terms of value for money over the last few years that something in this price range comes with so many features. O.K., so the camera gives low quality pictures, but at least you get one and it is good enough for taking amusing pics on a night out even if its not what you would want for nice photos of your family, or of beautiful scenery on you holidays. It also has GPRS, EDGE and Bluetooth, an 11MB memory, and although you can't use it to listen to your mp3's (what do you expexct at this price!) you do get an fm radio, which is nice.

Take a look at the picture below:

Motorola W156

At the time of writing this page the Motorolar W156 is the cheapest pay as you go mobile phone handset on the market.  In actual fact until I started researching for this I had no idea that you could get anything for such a ridiculously cheap price (you can buy it for under £5 - check out the links at the top of the page)

It comes with fm radio, some very basic games, and you can download polyphonic ringtones, but apart from that its stripped right down to the bones.

Sony Ericsson T303

This is the most expensive of the 3 phones that I have chosen to feature on this page, but it is without any doubt at all the best value for money. If you are looking for maximum functionality at the best possible price then this a great choice for you.

You get a 1.3 MP Camera with 4x Digital zoom, 8 MB phone memory and USB compatability, GPRS and Bluetooth, both fm radio and mp3 player, polyphonic ringtones and an attractive looking phone with a decent size and quality colour display (see picture below).

And you can get all of this for around £30-40, which amazes me; use the links at the top of the page in the introduction to make sure that you are getting the best possible price if you are interested in this phone.
