Cheap Supplements
62You can't put a price on good health nor can you put a price on quality supplements. When it comes to supplements buying cheap supplements might not be in your best interest. Sure you will save money and probably a lot but many cheap supplements are not effective. This is why it is important to buy supplements from reputable pharmaceutical companies. Companies such as Merck & Co., Novartis, GlaxoSmithKline, Bristol-Meyers Squipp and Pfizer. All of these companies are known for quality and have to much to lose if they skimp on main active ingredients in their supplements. They also use the highest standard and highest quality standards. Vitamin B12 is a good example because if the quality is not great then it's the equivalent of taking nothing at all. Cheap bodybuilding supplements are made by so many companies that it only makes one scratch their head as to how they were approved by the FDA. GNC is a pretty good company too and there are many others. The pharmaceutical companies I listed above are simply some of the giants. The country in which the supplements is manufactured is also very important. Some countries go by a standard of quality that is regulated. Supplements in the United States are regulated by the FDA under the Dietary Supplement Health and Education of 1994 (DSHEA). A cheap supplement from countries that have lax health laws if any at all will most likely manufacture ineffective cheap supplements. This is due to them having nothing to lose and so they will try to make as much as they can.
Cheap Supplement Might Not Be An Effective Supplement
Most cheap nutritional supplements will sell for about 60% of the full price. Actually in most case this is the real price and the mark down is more of a sales tactic. So under no circumstances should you pay full price for supplements manufactured by Zydot, VPX, Pharma Resources, GNC, Omega Sports One, EAS, Universal Nutrition, Emergen, JFC nutrition, Promax, Swiss Labs, etc. You will find numerous websites that will try to entice to order cheap supplements by the bulk. But think, is it necessary that you buy such large quantities. It is best to try brand after brand until you are certain what works best for you. Even if your favorite body builder or nutritional therapists favors a certain product. The reason could be that they are being sponsored and paid for pushing such supplements. You should also especially careful with cheap protein supplements because all protein supplements are not alike. This is also true for vitamins and minerals as well. Calcium supplements from reputable companies are more beneficial then generic brands sold nameless companies.
Final Word On Cheap Supplements
Consider what would benefit you a supplement that costs a little more but one that is effective. Or a cheap supplement that does cost less but is limited in its effectiveness. After all what is a supplement if it doesn't do what it's supposed to do.
