Is Buying Cheap WoW Gold Really Worth It?

There seems to be the misconception that buying cheap WoW gold is the fastest and best way to get the things you need in World Of Warcraft. Besides the fact that getting caught buying cheap WoW gold from a website can get your account banned it simply is not very cost effective if you look at the big picture.

Let's take a look at the reasons people look to buy cheap WoW gold:

  • To buy gear - There really is no need to buy cheap WoW gold to get gear because the truth is the best gear avaiable for any class is found either by earning pvp epic gear or in instance / quest drops
  • To be able to afford mounts - Since Blizzard has now reduced apprentice mounts to level 30 and the cost is only around 35 gold, buying cheap WoW gold is not necessary. By the time you get to the 60 & 70 mounts you should be able to make enough gold easily for these.
  • To help get mats to power level professions - This is the most ridiculous arguement because even the most cheap WoW gold will cost around 20 bucks for 1000 gold and this amount of gold is not going to power level any profession very fast.

So What's The Alternative To Buying Cheap WoW Gold?

Looking at the lowest cost example above of 1000 gold for $20 we can see there are way more effective ways to getting all the gold one would ever need.

As a great example there are folks who have been playing this game for years and have documented the best and fastest ways to obtain thousands of gold at any level.

Would it make more sense to you to pay $20 for 1000 gold or to pay a little more for the information that will allow you to make that amount over and over again whenever you need it? Along with that you can get some cool bonus information about World Of Warcraft AND not risk getting your account banned. Buying cheap WoW gold can get you banned, learning how to make it for yourself will not get you banned and makes more sense.
