People are affraid of buying cheap refurbished laptops because they think that there is something wrong with the unit. While, there was. That's why the laptop was initial sent back. But the great news is that once they fix them, cheap refurbished laptops become a great deal. All they do at the factory is take out the defective unit and replace it with a good unit. 

The thing people don't understand is how modular laptops are. What this means is that the bad part - like a motherboard, ram or processor - is really isolated from the other parts. Just because one of these parts went bad, there is really no reason to suspect that anything else went bad. Most of the time, these parts are manufactured in different places anyway. They are just put together before a laptop is shipped out.

So rebuilt cheap refurbished laptops are really of the same quality as a new laptop. But, they sell for 20% discounts, or more. Why not take advantage of the fact that people don't understand this. You can clean up now that you understand this with no real risk you wouldn't be taking anyway with a new laptop from the store.
