What method would you use to show your love on Valentine's day?
See results without votingLife is like a box of chocolates...
...and chocolates are cliche. However if they are homemade chocolates, your sweetheart might just find them to be extra special, since they were made by your hands.
There are so many ways you can show your love, but if you are on a budget (which many people are due to the harsh economic times) then you will appreciate this list of cash conscious ways to say "I love you" this Valentine's day.
1. Homemade card: You may think that handmade cards are for elementary school children in arts & crafts class, but anyone can make these cards seem extra special. Include pictures of you and your honey doing fun things, sprinkle on some glitter and write words like "I cherish you" on the construction paper you have the pictures glued onto, and you've got yourself a lifelong treasure.
2. Breakfast in bed: There is nothing a woman (or man for that matter) likes better than to wake up in the morning and not have to cook breakfast. It shaves half an hour off their morning routine, and is a great start to their day. So, consider preparing breakfast for your sweetie as a testament of your love.
3. Heartfelt poetry: You don't have to be Dr. Seuss to come up with some good poetry. There are online rhyming dictionaries that you can utilize in the poetry making process. And hey! Not all poetry has to rhyme, right? So, you can just use some beautiful phrases from the heart to express your undying love for your significant other, and that should win him/her over.
4. Picnic in the park: Nothin' says lovin' like good food and even better ambiance. Who wouldn't love the beautiful scenary of the great outdoors as the backdrop of a candlelit picnic. You can bring all of your honey's most favorite foods.
5. A collage or video montage of your precious moments: Unless you just got together, you and your sweetheart should have racked up plenty of touching moments, many of which are captured on film. Here is your chance to stroll through memory lane by getting out those pictures or that old video and makinging something for your honey.
Well, I hope that helped. I hope everyone has a happy Valentine's Day!!!
