You can get the Cheapest Electricity by using a comparison site. You need to put in your address and your current bill as well as how often you pay, i.e. monthly or quarterly and it will work out if you are with the cheapest supplier or whether you can save hundreds of pounds by moving.

Before you go off and do that bear in mind some comparison sites will give you cash back by using them to switch. But did you know that you can go through a cashback site first, then go to the comparison site and get two lots of cashback and lower bills! That really is WIN, WIN, WIN.

I recently swapped my electricity and gas supplier to a dual fuel monthly direct debit arrangement and save about £400 per year on my previous supplier. So it is really worth doing. I then managed to get £15 cash back from the comparison site I used and because I sued a cashback site to get to that website I got more money from them as well!!! The cheapest electricity and gas supplier depends on your area, mine ended up being Scottish Power.
