Chess Puzzles
65“The essential disadvantage of the isolated pawn…lies not in the pawn itself, but in the square in front of the pawn.” Réti
Richard Réti (1889 - 1929) was one of the top players in the world during the 1910s and 1920s. He was also a chess author and composer of endgame studies.
Winning chess strategies and chess tactics can be found in many different areas. Working on chess openings and chess endgames are two great ways to improve your chess tactics and playing ability. Chess puzzles are another great way to improve your game. You can start with mate in 1 (beginner) and then mate in 2 (intermediate) and continue on to the more difficult advanced chess puzzles. Taking chess lessons can help because of the instant feedback you get on your games. Also chess instruction is tailored directly to you.
