Are you interested in methods of chest hair removal?  If so, I’m going to take a wild guess and say you’re a guy, you also might happen to be a bodybuilder.  I know as a bodybuilder myself that chest hair can be quite frustrating, it gets in the way of all your hard work at the gym and in the kitchen and obscures your well defined body.

Well, it’s definitely not effeminate to want to look into chest hair removal for that purpose, and even for those who don’t workout, removing hair on your body is now acceptable, it’s all a part of “Man Scaping”, a whole “metrosexual” movement.

Now if you’re looking into what the best chest hair removal method is, you’ve got several options at your disposal:

1.        Shaving

Of course shaving is the simplest method at your disposal, I don’t need to bother telling you that really.  The bad thing about this though is the stubble grows back in pretty much the next day and you’re left with that unsexy stubbly look that no woman is going to enjoy.

2.        Waxing

Now waxing is a better option, but it can be brutally painful for some of us, especially those of us with particularly thick chest hair.

With waxing, the wax is applied to the chest hair in the direction of growth while a cotton strip is then pressed down overtop firmly. In one quick motion, this is then pulled back, tearing the hairs out from their follicles and taking the wax along with it.

It doesn’t sound very pleasant and to be honest, it isn’t very pleasant either. Salons will tell you it’s not that bad, but can you really trust their opinion when they’re just out to get your money? The truth is, although it may hurt the first time around, the more you go in for the treatment, the easier it becomes. Your hair will become easier to remove with each successive treatment and fewer hairs will grow back as well.

1. Hair Inhibitor

Another chest hair removal method you may want to try out is a hair inhibitor. Hair inhibitors are essentially creams you rub on right after shaving or better yet waxing. By doing this, the enzymes found in this solution will work to inhibit the hair follicle from re-growing by disrupting the body’s natural process of re-growing hairs.

If you continue to use this every time after you shave your chest or every time after you wax it, it is possible that you will have some permanent hair loss in the chest area. It will take many months though for this to happen.

Before you try any chest hair removal methods, be sure you research them thoroughly and be sure to look around the Net for alternative treatments as well, there is more than 1 way to skin a cat.
