Well some years back when my son was much smaller, he is now going to be 12 years old ,we did a lot of travelling and used to stay in quite a few hotels.

We happened to be staying in a five star international hotel that catered mostly for the overseas tourist when this happened.

We had sat down to have breakfast one morning and as luck would have it having a youngster of about 6 or so they always need the bathroom.

So not wanting to go into the men's toilet I allowed him to leave the table and go on his own with strict instruction of going there and coming straight back, which is what he actually did.

Little did I know what was in store for me! He had grown somewhat and things he could not normally reach he now could soooooooo he returns and plonks down on the breakfast table some items and at the top of his voice proclaimed "mom what are these"?

I quitely tried to tell him to return the items which he had put down on the breakfast table however he was most persistant. Have you tried to explain to a 6 year old what "condoms" iare at the breakfast table when you have a room full of stranger watching you!

Well needless to say if the ground could have opened up and swallowed me it would have been a better option. All I got was BUT MOM when I kept saying please, please put them back where you found them!!!!

The only way those condoms where going anywhere was when i promised to explain after we had left breakfast and we where alone! That at least did the trick so moms beware do not let you youngster go alone to a bathroom!
