Chilean Wineberry

The Chilean Wineberry is the less commonly used name to describe the superberry called Maqui Berry. An even less popular name for the Chilean Wineberry is Aristotelia Chilensis. Like the name implies, the Chilean Wineberry is from the South American country of Chile. The Chilean region has a long viticultural history for a new world wine region dating to the 16th century. Unlike most other wine producing countries, Chile has remained free of phylloxera louse which means the countries grape vines are not required to be grafted.

Well, you probably DID NOT come here to learn about Chile or their taste in wines, you came here to learn about the Chilean Wineberry. The berry is growing in popularity since its discovery because it has the highest amount of antioxidants than any other berry in the world, even when the maqui is compared to acai which is the second strongest berry but due to it being marketed by thousands of companies, as well as being featured on the popular Oprah website, it is much more popular.

To learn more about the Chilean Wineberry, Read the Maqui Berry Information site and we also recommend taking a look into the benefits of maqui berry blog.
