By helpful tips man

Chili beans has always been a popular meal in my family! Growing up in the south , I have sampled many different recipes for this dish. For the most part ,They were made with beef, some with turkey. But which ever meat they chose , it was always ground. Now I have tasted lots of good chili beans made from ground meat. But I like to do mine a little different. I use chunks of meat rather than ground. Using chunks of meat gives you more of a , I'm eating steak and beans feeling!

Ingredients

  • Deer meat (If you are not a fan of deer meat ,then substitute with steak )

  • One onion

  • One can of tomato soup

  • Two jalapeno peppers ( If you don't like your chili hot substitute with green peppers )

  • 1/4  Stick of butter

  • 2 oz of chili powder

  • One can of dark red kidney beans

  • One can of light kidney beans

Cook Your Meat

Before you cook your meat, cut meat in to small pieces about the size of a nickel. Then cook on a skillet at medium heat until well done. Do not over cook, you don't want a burnt taste in your beans! Cut onions and peppers in to pieces about 1 inch long. Now add butter to the pot first. Once the butter has melted start adding the rest of ingredients. Adding the butter first will help your beans from sticking to the bottom of the pot. Add only half of chili powder. Cook on high until chili comes to a boil. Boil for two or three minutes , then set the heat back to low. Add the remaining chili powder. Cook on low heat for about 15 to 20 minutes, stirring frequently. Turn off heat and let stand 10 minutes. Now for my favorite part! Have yourself a bowl of beans!

Double Helping Of Beans

  •  2 onions

  • 4 peppers

  • 2 cans of tomato soup

  • 4 oz of chili powder

  •  one half a stick of butter

  • 2 cans of light kidney beans

  • 2 cans of dark kidney beans

It doesn't take very long to cook chili beans this way. So if you are in need of a fast dish this should work out well. And if you don't eat them all the first night, don't worry there even better the day. Once the meat has soaked over night it becomes very tender! So if your cooking them for a family event ,or get together. It would be a good idea to cook them the night before.
