Suddenly I wish to share something unique with my hubpages buddies. Probably you don't expect to learn Chinese completely through my hubs ( I wish I could and I will try to figure out how... ), but today I would like to share some simple Chinese phrases which are commonly used.

In order not to waste everybody time, let's begin now. Well I prefer to start with some 3-character phrases first. Feel free to let me know what's your thought.

Phrases (Pronunciation)

我爱你 (wo ai ni) - I love you

对不起 (dui bu chi) - Sorry

谢谢你 (sie sie ni) - Thank you

不知道 (bu zi dao) - Don't know

不可能 (bu ke nen) - It's impossible

为什么?( wei shen mo) - Why?

太好了! (tai hao le) - Great!

明天见 (ming tian jian) - See you tomorrow

In order to help you understand more specifically, these are some very straight forward definition to individual character:

我 (I, my, me) ;

爱 (Love);

你 (you);

不 (no, not);

太 (very, too);

好 (good, ok);

见 (see);

谢谢 (thank, thanks);

可能 (possible, can);

明天 (tomorrow).

What do you think? I do agree that learning Chinese is not easy. Just have fun and hope this new thing can cheer a little bit up your day!

再见!

(Translate as "see again", mean "Bye Bye")

Thanks for the complement.

It will be fun too if you try to use a pen to write the Chinese character. Sometimes you may find it looks very cute.

One of the best things about learning a language is finding out how many more people you can suddenly communicate with. I just wanted to mention, if you're looking for language partners to get practice speaking Chinese, this is a really good website:

http://www.italki.com

The site also has a lot of other free language learning resources -- check it out.
