A "no-bake" sweet recipe!
Do you like peanut butter and chocolate? Well, here's a no-bake recipe that combines these two tasty baking ingredients into a delicious and unique dessert.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels (12 oz.)
- 3/4 cups creamy peanut butter
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 3 cups toasted rice cereal
Directions:
- In a small saucepan, heat chocolate and peanut butter over low heat and stir until smooth. Remove mixture from heat.
- Add powdered sugar into peanut butter/chocolate mixture and stir until smooth.
- In a large bowl, place the toasted rice cereal and add 1 cup of the melted peanut butter/chocolate mixture. Stir until cereal is evenly coated.
- Place on ungreased baking sheet.
- Using a small spatula, form a 10-12 inch circle with the rice cereal mixture. Leave a slightly raised one-inch border.
- Pour remaining peanut butter/chocolate mixture into center of the circle.
- Refrigerate for 30-40 minutes, or until firm.
