- Sure Shot Ways to Succeed in Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is the right course of action for a marketer who possesses the singular self confidence, determination and inherent ability to get going in his business all by himself. Taking on the mantle of a one man organization is a tough call because there is nobody to turn to for advice and there is also no one to blame if things go wrong. The buck stops with the owner of the business and with him alone. Being the master of it all is precisely the factor that gives one the kick, the sense of achievement. - 5 months ago
- How to Multiply Your Income With List Building
Making profits by building a list and selling to the list is pretty simple, if done the right way. An autoresponder can send one message to multiple people in your list, thus making it easier to increase your sales. It is really this easy, because you'd have more sales if you have more subscribers. A job of building lists is a good way to help you attain a steady income, and maintain good relationship over the internet with your subscribers. It also makes your marketing career over the internet quite easy. - 5 months ago

For choosing the new products, you can use CBTrends if you want too. They do have a new products link at the top of their page. My preference is to use CBEngine.com. The whole site is actually an excellent tool for many aspects of your affiliate work. The part I want to focus on is their Brand New Products list, and their Re-Listed Products list.
To start, navigate to the site. Here’s where we begin to build your portfolio.
You should always have at least one new product and at least one relisted product in your current sales lineup. This ensures that along with the highly competitive products you are promoting, you have a couple that you were one of the first affiliates to promote.
The re-listed products on CBEngine have graphs. Choosing a relisted product is as simple as picking one that performed well in the past. When choosing a new product things are a little different. With the absence of statistics and charts, you will have to find other aspects to choose the right ones to promote.
Some affiliates actually buy a new product before deciding to promote it. Since buying every product you help to sell can be quite expensive, my preference is to evaluate the sales page instead.
If the vendor has a copy page that is written well enough to make you want to buy the product, then it is very likely that they paid as much attention to the product itself. Of course there’s also the fact that a well-written sales page will make you more money.
Let’s cover the basic steps to evaluate a sales page. Choose a product that’s related to the other ones you intend to sell and then look at the vendor’s website.
When looking at the page you should ask yourself the following questions:
· Does the color and graphics take away from the page in anyway? If it does, people won’t take the time to read it.
· Is the text highlighted in such a way that a lazy reader can follow along? Many copy pages are quite long. Some readers won’t read the whole page – instead they will follow the colored or bold highlights in the text.
· Does the page build emotion? When you read it does it play off of the reader’s needs and wants?
· The Most Important Element: Does it leave you wanting to buy the product? When you read it from the viewpoint of an uninformed reader do you feel like you should click that button and make the purchase?
When analyzing the competition, you’re doing two things:
- Seeing which products could sell well if you were to market them as an affiliate. This gives some real home truths as to how well a chosen product will actually sell if you were to choose a similar one.
- You start to gather some very important information about your chosen market. Specifically I like to gauge the following:
a) Specific Content that sells – Look at individual products from the top performers, but also study the poor performers and see the difference in what’s on offer. If you have the budget available, I always recommend actually buying competitors products so you can see firsthand what the actual product is all about.
b) Confirm the market is moving – If you see that some products are trending upwards, whilst others are trending downwards then this confirms that its an excellent market to target.
c) Top performing categories – Look at the category graphs and see which categories and sub-categories are performing the best.
d) Price points – Look at the correlation between the price and the number of sales within a category. There might not be a direct correlation but if all the top performers are selling at $67 for example, then this is good indication that you should target the same price point for your own product.
