The coffins are mainly two types - made of metal and made of wood. The wood used for furniture is more expensive in comparison with the one used for caskets (mahogany, pine, walnut, pecan, oak, ash, cherry, and maple). There are also different available finishes that provide a great look. The metal caskets (bronze, steel, stainless steel, and copper) may have no protective or protective finish against water and air. The family members or the person itself should choose in advance the right casket by checking the offered rates and promotions long before that day comes.

This is made in order to ensure that the family and friends will be able to see for the last time the deceased (the upper part of the body or the whole body). There are people who rent a casket for the funeral, particularly if the person wanted to be cremated after death. In that case you have to prepare an urn in which the remains of the deceased will be placed.
