Deep Thoughts on Choosing the Best Hair Conditioner for You
70
Hair conditioners are popular hair care products made to help rejuvenate and revive your hair's health and provide some necessary elements like vitamins and proteins for treatment of the damaged strands and scalp. Several known brands like L oreal, Pantene, Clairol and many others have developed and included in their line of products what they claim to be the best hair conditioner for everyone.
Although the whole idea of hair conditioners may seem simple at first look, there are a lot more details into it than just hair repair and conditioning treatment. For instance, these products fall into such diverse categories separating each type according to function, contents, components and application or use. We have moisturizers, reconstructors, detanglers, acidifiers, thermal protectors, glossers, detanglers and oils or essential fatty acids.
Commercial hair conditioners are classified into those types, making it a tad harder for you to choose the best hair conditioner. One that is right for you and your hair. Some may not understand why it's such a big deal picking the proper hair conditioner. But what they don't know is that if one has chosen and used the wrong conditioner, your hair may end up in a very serious problem, the damage could be so deep that it couldn’t be reversed.
Thankfully, the Internet has shared useful tips and information on how to choose the best conditioner for your hair. Keep in mind that your choice of conditioner depends mostly on the type of your hair unlike in shampoo, wherein your scalp type is the biggest factor to consider. If you have a normal hair, buy only what is intended for that kind of hair.
Volumizing conditioners are used for limp and fine hair while rich, moisturizing conditioners are for dry hair or frizzy hair. In addition to that, you should also purchase a separate leave-in conditioner that you can use once or twice a week. Those are just some helpful reminders when deciding which product suits you best.
But if you're the type who's not comfortable in using commercial hair conditioners because of the chemicals in it that you think may be harmful, you can go for natural hair conditioners or those created at home. You can even make those simple conditioners by yourself using items available in your kitchen like mayonnaise, milk, eggs, oils, etc.
Selecting the right conditioner is not an overnight decision. You should think about it very carefully and if possible, gather needed information and recommendations to help you decide which one's best for you.

Hi Ms. Info, thanks ;)
Wow - really informative thanks. If you're looking for adsense income it's quite a general topic... not sure what traffic that will produce.
Hi Julie-Ann, I'm not actually but I understand what you're saying ;)

Great hub! Helpful info!
Thank you all. I appreciate your comments!
I am a hairstylist since 1974 for many years I work as a consultant to professional hair care companies and I help develop or test some of the professional products that we all use today.
Let me start by saying that I am 100% for organic products not only for the hair and skin but anything I can use or eat I buy organic.
However mayonnaise, milk, eggs, oils, etc. “when you use it to some ones hair (and I have) it provides smooth hair by smoothing down the cuticle of the hair. They make the hair shine because of the oils in it. BUT the next time you shampoo the hair they will fill like they did before you use this mayonnaise, milk, eggs, oils, etc. “why? Because they never become part of the hair or penetrate the hair inner layers to actually repair and conditions. Our scalp produces oils but not vegetable base oils. The products that you mention above the molecule are too big to penetrate the hair. Good shampoos and conditioners the protein or moisture is refine and small to actually repair and not coat the hair shaft.
Thanks keep up the good work
Steve
