After reports that Rihanna had taken physical abuse at the hands of her lover Chris Brown and reportedly getting back together, Chris Brown has been seen with hometown girl Erica Jackson. Public outrage online and outline surfaced soon after photos of a battered Rihanna appeared online showing a bruised face after an altercation with Chris Brown over a text message from his manager.

It was thought that Rihanna was getting back with Chris Brown soon after the altercation when she was seen at P. Diddy's Star Mansion/ Chris Brown was seen  waterskiing and smiling before his court date for the two resulting felonious assaults.

As reported from MTV's News Staff; however, Chris Brown was seen not with Rihanna but with Erica Jackson, Chris's hometown girl. Chris Brown has been seen with Erica Jackson who is is ex-girlfriend and is from Virginia. There is no word on whether Chris Brown met up with her while he was touring a local Virginia college or whether or not the friend was Erica Jackson a few weeks ago.

Reports are now that the two have become a hot couple over the last two weeks. Erica Jackson is a student at the University of  Mary Washington. Chris Brown has been visiting the University of Mary and have taken photos with the girls basketball team. Ironically, his visit coincided with the college White Ribbon Campaign that raises awareness about violence toward women.

Chris Brown has not been seen with Rihanna for several weeks. Erica Jackson is not as beautiful as Rihanna but insiders are saying that she "may be good for Chris Brown." Just this past Saturday, Chris Brown and Erica Jackson was reportedly seen leaving a Tatoo Parlor together. However insiders are saying that is is not proven that the woman with Chris Brown was Erica Jackson on that particular occasion.

Insiders are saying that Rihanna may be hurt again emotionally this time by seeing Chris Brown parading around town with a new girl so soon after the abusive incident.
