Christian Can You Spare A Smile?

Unloved people, will cry themselves

To sleep this very night

Longing for someone to earnestly

Care if they're alright.

All to often we go on by

Without even a smile to say

I am sorry you are having trouble friend

But tomorrow is a brand new day!

Sometimes a smile is not enough

And only a hug will do

Just open your arms wide and squeeze

Love will ooze from you.

What? You say, you cannot touch

One that is so defiled.

Just remember that Jesus died

For each and every child.

So dear friend, reach out your hand

And feel the love surge through

The power source is Jesus

Flowing to the world through you.

If you touch another life, 

While connected to the Father above

Some lonely soul may sleep tonight

Held in the arms of love.
