Are You Looking for the Right Business?

Finding the right Christian Home Business can sometimes be hard because we want to make what we call the "right" decision...especially when it involves business. When deciding on the right home business for yourself there are some ESSENTIAL questions to ask:

  • What is business opportunity?
  • Do they offer a legitimate product that people will want?
  • Is the price of the product comparable to others?
  • What kind of leadership is there in the company?
  • Can I be successful?

These are all great questions that I asked myself before deciding to join a business and once I had them answered...I was set to go. Let's answer some of these questions in terms of a Christian Home Business.

Let's Answer Those Questions...

  • When finding out about business opportunities there are a couple places that you can go to do excellent research on the different home based businesses, which are called mlm companies or network marketing companies. Here are two great websites that I've found to just do some general research about a company. The first is www.mlmrankings.com and the second is www.npros.com. Read up on some of them and see what you can find out.
  • The second question about whether the company offers a legitimate product can really be done by looking at what product the company offers and seeing what kind of reviews people have given it. You always have to take what people write on the Internet "with a grain of salt" because there will always be the nay-sayers...but you can at least get an overall feeling for it.
  • The third question is where some companies don't quite pan out. They offer a product or service that is overpriced and it won't matter how good it is...people won't buy it. Another important factor to consider here is how marketable is the companies product. If there is not a market for it...again it's going to be hard to sell.
  • Leadership in my opinion is a HUGE factor. Being a Christian, it was very important to me that the leadership of the company I chose to represent would live up to the standards I set for myself. I wanted them to honest, trustworthy, caring and not just about making money. There is so many more important things in this world than money. So for me this was a BIG ONE. What you can do is head back to those two websites I gave you above...go to the company links and you will probably be able to figure out who the leaders or founders are. Head to a search engine and see what you can dig up.
  • Can you be successful? Now that is the million dollar question. What I have found to be most important aspects of whether you will be successful is whether you are "teachable" and will take action on what you are taught. If you are then you will be successful...IF you have a good mentor. It is so very difficult in life to do anything without a good coach or mentor. That's why I love the network marketing industry. You not only have be teachable but you have to learn to be a great coach. Find a good mentor and you're set...find a great mentor and you're off to the races.

I believe the network marketing industry is the best industry to begin learning and building the skills of being a true entrepreneur. Finding a Christian Home Business is really impossible to find because it really doesn't exist. I mean...what would the company have to do or say to be considered that? In my time in the industry I've met great Christian people in almost every business out there and they are the ones you want to find to work with.

A couple years ago I was embarking on the same journey you are on now...trying to find the perfect fit for me and my family. As I said earlier...I answered each of those questions and found what I believe to be a truly great company with amazing leaders.

If you're looking for someone to work with or to coach you in the right direction, then I'd love to be able to help you.  Come hang out with me on my blog...www.AaronWyssmann.com.

Much Success to You and I Look Forward to Connecting,
