What is Reiki?

It is considered to be the same Source energy that Christ used to heal.

Are you an energy healer? The healer brings his/her own beliefs to the Reiki healing table, and in Mary's case those beliefs are Christian and Biblical.

Lay-on-of-hands and Reiki are of the same material. There is no contradiction in this because Reiki is not a religion, and there is nothing in energy healing that conflicts with the Biblical truths taught in scripture. Traditional Usui Reiki teaches the practitioners to use a simple set of principles for moral behavior which are compatible with any spiritual belief. The Precepts of Reiki is to cause no harm and live in the present moment.

Reiki is derived from two Japanese words: rei - meaning soul or spirit ki - meaning life force energy. Reiki only means in Japanese= hands-on-healing. It is great for helping friends and family members.

Reiki is easy to learn and use. Reiki is Universal consciousness energy that seems to have its own consciousness (it follows Universal Law), and is able to provide exactly what is needed on all levels. Traditionally, Reiki has been taught in three degrees or levels.

A specific attunement for each degree of training is passed down from master to student.
