Have you heard of the movie Born Free? Do you know the story of Christian the Lion? How he was found in a fancy store in London, in a cramped cage, for sale? Christian was befriended by a couple that could not bear to watch the poor lion cub stay in a cage. A mini lion king, a beautiful baby African Lion, alone in London.

Not at all understanding what they were getting into they took him home to live with them in their flat in London. A local Vicar allowed them to let Christian excersise in the church yards. Many wonderful hours were spent with playing together.

Finally they realized they needed to return him to Africa. They certainly did not want to give him to a zoo and he was just too big for their flat in London.

After a while they wanted to go see how he was doing. They were told he was doing great but that now, as he was the leader of his very own pride of lions, he was completely wild. It would not be safe for them to attempt to see him and get up close. He was now, indeed, the Lion King.

Deep inside they both knew he would remember them. Were they right? Watch the video and see. Click on this link inside the quotes.
