A Christmas cheese ball to wow your guests

Do you enjoy cheese balls? A cheese ball is especially nice to serve at Christmas time--a little something different to add to the festivities. This Christmas cheese ball is sure to please with delicious Hellman's mayonnaise and the addition of chopped walnuts.

Cheese Ball Recipe

1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese

1/4 cup Hellman's mayonnaise

2 cups of ground ham

1/4 tsp. tobasco sauce

1 tsp. minced onion

1-2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

1/2 cup or more of chopped walnuts

Mix cream cheese, mayo, and ham together. Add Tabasco sauce and onion. Mix in parsley or pat around outside of cheese ball. Coat the cheese ball with the chopped nuts until entire surface is covered. Chill.

You can make your Christmas cheese ball a day ahead and wrap in saran wrap. Treat as you would any dish with meat.

Christmas cheese balls can be served on a festive plate and decorated with sprigs of ornamental holly or mistletoe.

I especially like this, because I've had to eliminate alot of cheeses from my diet to watch my cholesterol. Mayo, and cream cheese in moderation are allowed. So I can actually have this! Yay!
