Christmas Songs
65
I love Christmas songs. Every year I find myself scrambling to remember the words to my favorite Christmas songs. With that thought in mind I put together the words as well as a few videos of my favorite Christmas songs. This year I am ready to sing my favorites with the words near, by no more last minute hunting. Happy holidays and may your Christmas be full of peace, blessings and over flowing with cheer this year.
Tom Jones & Cerys Matthews - Baby It's Cold Outside (Live)
Baby It's Cold Outside
I really can't stay (Baby, it's cold outside)
I've got to go 'way (Baby, it's cold outside)
This evening has been (I've been hopin' that you'd drop in)
So very nice (I'll hold your hands, they're cold as ice)
My mother will start to worry (Hey beautiful, what's your hurry)
And father will be pacing the floor (Listen to that fireplace roar)
So really, I'd better scurry (Beautiful, please don't hurry)
Well, maybe just one drink more (Put some music on while I pour)
The neighbors might think (Baby, it's bad out there)
Say, what's in this drink (No cabs to be had out there)
I wish I knew how (Your eyes are like starlight now)
To break this spell (I'll take your hat, your hair looks swell)
I oughtta say no, no, no sir (You mind if I move in closer)
At least I'm gonna say that I tried (And what's the sense in hurting my pride)
I really can't stay (Oh baby, don't hold out)
Oh, but it's cold outside
I simply must go (Baby, it's cold outside)
The answer is no (Baby, it's cold outside)
The welcome has been (So lucky that you dropped in)
So nice and warm (Look out the window at that storm)
My sister will be suspicious (Your lips look delicious)
My brother will be there at the door (Waves upon a tropical shore)
My maiden aunt's mind is vicious (Gosh, your lips are delicious)
Well, maybe just a half a drink more (Never such a blizzard before)
I've got to get home (Baby, you'll freeze out there)
Say, lend me a comb (It's up to your knees out there)
It's really been grand (I thrill when you touch my hand)
Oh, but don't you see (How can you do this thing to me)
There's bound to be talk tomorrow (Well, think of my lifelong sorrow)
At least there will be plenty implied (If you caught pneumonia and died)
I really can't stay (Get over that hold out)
Oh, but baby it's cold outside

Bells Will Be Ringing
Bells will be ringing,
the glad, glad news;
Oh, what a Christmas,
to have the blues;
My baby's gone;
I have no friends;
To wish me greetings,
once again;
Choirs will be singing,
Silent Night
Oh, Christmas Carols,
by candlelight;
Please come home for Christmas;
Please come home for Christmas;
If not for Christmas,
by New Year's Night;
Friends and relations;
Send salutations;
Just as sure as the stars
shine above;
This is Christmas,
Christmas my dear;
The time of year to be with the one
that you love;
Then will you tell me,
you'll never more roam;
Christmas and New Year
will find you home;
There'll be no more sorrow;
No grief or pain;
'Cause I'll be happy that
it's Christmas once again
Blue Christmas ~I love Elvis!!!!
Blue Christmas
I'll have a blue Christmas without you
I'll be so blue thinking about you
Decorations of red
On a green Christmas tree
Won't be the same
If you're not here with me
And when those blue snow flakes start falling
And when those blue memories start falling
You'll be doing all right with your Christmas of white
But I'll have a blue, blue, blue, blue Christmas
Ooh
Ooh
Ooh
Ooh
Decorations of red
On a green Christmas tree
Oh, won't be the same
If you're not here with me
I'll have a blue Christmas, that's certain
And when that blue heartache starts hurting
You'll be doing all right
With your Christmas of white
But I'll have a blue, blue Christmas
Mmmm
Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas,
We wish you a Merry Christmas,
We wish you a Merry Christmas,
And a Happy New Year.
Good tidings to you,
And all of your kin,
Good tidings for Christmas,
And a Happy New Year.
We all know that Santa's coming,
We all know that Santa's coming,
We all know that Santa's coming,
And soon will be here.
Good tidings to you,
And all of your kin,
Good tidings for Christmas,
And a Happy New Year.
We wish you a Merry Christmas,
We wish you a Merry Christmas,
We wish you a Merry Christmas,
And a Happy New Year.
