Free Christmas Images

I'm quite proud of this Christmas images compilation, because I made virtually all of the images myself in Picnik. (Read my Picnik tutorial to learn how to make your own clip art.) A lot of the credit has to be given to the Picnik artists, though, because they provided the fantastic basic images from which all the final designs on this page were made.

I love the shiny Web 2.0 look of many of these Christmas images. And to make them even more contemporary, I added "2009" to some. You can find the 2009 artwork under the Christmas Stamps and Christmas Ornaments sections. But there are also some more traditional designs, especially under the Christmas Borders and Christmas Typography sections.

Instructions for downloading the Christmas images

Choose a small version of any of the images above the large images to the right and at the bottom of the page. When you click on one of the images, it will appear larger.

IMPORTANT: Once you've chosen an image and see it larger, double-click on the larger image, which will make the best version of the art appear. Sorry for the extra step, but this will give you the highest quality art.

Then, if you have a PC, just right-click and save the final version of the artwork to your hard drive.

Note to Internet Explorer users: You may have to click one more time after following the instructions above. (In other words, click on the image that comes up after clicking on the large image.) For some reason IE makes those images look a little shaky. But clicking that final time will bring you to the good stuff. Sorry about this!
