Chronic Yeast Infections
735% of women will suffer from chronic yeast infections at some point in their life. The only reason they are suffering is because they have no idea how the yeast is mutating into a fungus and surviving in their body.
Once these women learn what is causing the yeast to mutate, and then how they can stop it they won't ever suffer from a yeast infection again.
Recurrent yeast infections are something no man or women needs to suffer from unless they are suffering from a serious health conditions that completely destroy their immune system. Such health conditions are Cancer and the HIV/AIDS virus.
If your health is usually good then you can cure your infections.
What is a yeast infection
A yeast infection is caused by the Candida Albicans yeast that lives harmlessly in all of us. Every human gets this yeast in their system from a very early age, and it is kept under control by our body's natural defenses.
It's only when these natural defenses are compromised in some way that a yeast infection occurs. When the natural defenses have completely broken down then chronic yeast infections occur. In some cases though, the sufferer has caused the chronic infection themselves without them realizing it.
The Candida Albicans yeast, when allowed, will mutate into an aggressive fungus. It's this fungus that causes the symptoms of burning and itching in and around the vagina.
The reason for the symptoms is the fungus feeding on the skin cells in and around the vagina. If left untreated the fungus gets deeper into the skin looking for new skin cells to feed on, and if it gets too deep it will have an easier time surviving when an anti fungal cream or suppository is applied to the infected area.
Resistant yeast
One reasons for chronic yeast infections is resistant yeast. When the yeast is exposed continuously to the same treatment it will eventually mutate into a form that the treatment can't harm in any way.
As the treatment is then used even more in the hope it will cure the infection the fungus just gets stronger until it is completely resistant. All that the treatment does then is turn the fungus into a super fungus that becomes difficult to treat,
Some women create their own resistant yeast/fungus by using the treatment incorrectly. They use the treatment until their symptoms disappear then stop using it. Although the symptoms have gone the fungus will still be alive in the vagina so the infection will just return when the treatment is stopped.
When the infection does return it will become resistant because of the exposure to the anti fungal drug, and in the fact that it wasn't completely killed. These creams and suppositories work in the same way antibiotics do, and if the treatment is cut short the very thing you're trying to kill will mutate so it can then fight off what is there to kill it.
Antibiotics and chronic yeast infections
Antibiotics are now the biggest cause of chronic yeast infections because they kill off the body's natural defenses against infections. Antibiotics are regularly used by millions of people every week, but not many of the users are aware of what these powerful anti bacterial drugs do to them other than cure the infection they have taken them for.
The human body has a natural bacterial balance that keeps itself healthy, and keep its immune system strong, and antibiotics use upsets this natural balance.
Your intestinal flora
Your body has trillions of bacteria living in and on it. This bacteria is balanced with good bacteria and bad bacteria. The good bacteria ( acidophilus ) keeps all of the bad bacteria that gets in our body under control.
When antibiotics are taken they don't only target the bacteria that they are there to kill, they kill all of the bacteria in your body. This means that the antibiotics kill off the good, beneficial bacteria that is protecting you from infections. Without the good bacteria the bad bacteria and yeasts are allowed to do what they want, and in a lot of people, that is exactly what the yeast choose to do.
Candida Albicans
We all have the Candida Albicans yeast living harmlessly in out body. No one is exempt from this at it happens from a very early age. The yeast is kept under control at all times by the friendly bacteria that lives along side of it.
When the friendly bacteria is killed off by the antibiotics, in some people the yeast is will take over if its population start growing at a faster rate than the friendly bacteria. This is usually caused by a poor diet, weakened immune system and/or an underlying health condition.
When the yeast does take over it will mutate into a fungus. when it's a yeast it causes no problems, but when it mutates into a fungus it will start feeding on you, and this is when your symptoms start.
The cause of your chronic yeast infections
Until you find the cause of your chronic yeast infections you will never cure them or rid your body of this health destroying fungus. Just continually applying OTC anti fungal fungal cream to your vagina isn't going to work, and that's something you probably already realize by now.
Just killing the yeast is not enough because your body is in a state where it is allowing the yeast to mutate, so until you stop the yeast mutating it will continually infect you.
As you've seen above antibiotics use is the biggest cause of yeast infections so if this is the reason you're suffering you have to reverse the damage caused by the antibiotics use.
You could be suffering from an underlying illness or health condition that is causing your infections. The most popular health condition that causes chronic yeast infection is diabetes. Diabetes raises blood sugar levels, and the Candida yeast loves sugar. The HIV/AIDS virus is another health condition that cause chronic infections because it completely destroys the immune system so the body is not strong enough to fight off any infections.
You must see your doctor
Many women suffer with their yeast infections for a long time without going to see their doctor. Your doctor can give you a thorough health check to make sure there isn't anything obvious that is causing your infections.
Your doctor can also give you a correct diagnosis. Lots of women continue to treat their infection with an OTC yeast cream then discover they haven't got a yeast infection.
Only a doctor can give you a correct diagnosis because they will test the culture that is infecting you so they know exactly what is is. If it isn't yeast then no amount of anti fungal cream will work, and the real infection will just get worse.
Treating chronic Candida
Treating chronic Candida can take along time depending on the severity of your infection. Candida overgrowth isn't just something that can be treated in a few days because it can be everywhere in your body.
To successfully eliminate the mutated yeast from your body you must...
- Starve the fungus
- Kill the fungus
- Repopulate your body with friendly bacteria
- Strengthen your immune system
- Get your body's chemical balance back
Once you have done all of this your body will then be able to prevent the yeast from mutating. That's the only way you can cure a fungal infection. No drug can do it for you as they can only kill the fungus, but you already know that killing the fungus doesn't work.
Getting expert help
Eliminating fungus from the human body usually requires expert help. Because there are so many reasons why the Candida Albicans yeast is allowed to mutate inside the body, just making one mistake in your attempt to remove it can send your progress backwards.
You need to re-balance your intestinal flora so your body can naturally fight of the yeast and you need To do this you need to repopulate your intestines with friendly bacteria, but you can't do this if your body is still allowing the yeast to mutate so you have to everything in the correct order.
