Chronic Fatigue a persistent, flu like disorder. It is also called myalgic encephalomyelitis. Person suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome is always tired and develop various combinations of other syndrome such as :

  • Sore throat
  • Tenderness of the lymph nodes
  • Headache
  • Body ache
  • Lack of concentration

The Most Frequent Causes of Fatigue :

  • Excessive stress
  • Loss of sleep
  • Poor diet and nutrition
  • Intestinal infection
  • Diabetes or the EBV virus (a type of herpes)
  • Anemia
  • Normal reaction of the immune system to an infection.
  • Hypoglycemia

Hypothyroidism improper functioning of the thyroid, and therefore of the metabolism which must assimilate foods in order to convert them into useful energy.

Recommended Treatment for Chronic Fatigue :

  1. Meditate for atleast 20minutes a day.
  2. Perform a stretching exercise and brisk walk every morning.
  3. Reduce the amount of caffeine and refined sugar that you consume and allow the insulin activity to regulate itself.
  4. Eat large quantities of complex carbohydrates (sweet potato, whole grains, beans) and healthy fats (from cold water fish salmon and extra virgin olive oil).
  5. Take supplements like; bee pollen, royal jelly, ginseng, alfalfa, vitamins and minerals.
  6. Get plenty of sleep. Its very important that there be a recuperation of lost energy.
