The Citi Diamond Preferred Rewards Card is one of the many credit cards offered by Citigroup Inc. This corporations long history in financial services dates back to 1812 with the founding of Citibank.

The Citi Diamond Preferred Rewards Card is based on a point system. In the first year, for every dollar you spend at the grocery store, drugstore or gas station, you will receive 5 points. You can also earn an extra 6,000 thank you points if you make a purchases that total to at least $100 in the first month. After the first year, you will receive 1point for every purchase. You can trade these points for numerous goods and services like travel, sporting events concerts and much more. For example, you can use your points to book any ticket or itinerary online with Expedia. You can only receive 75,000 points per calendar year.


Credit Card Qualifications

To qualify for the Citi Diamond Preferred Rewards Card MC, the applicant must be at least 18 years of age. You must be a US citizen to apply.
