Clairvoyance is one of the main abilities of psychic mediums and refers to the ability to see what others cannot see.  Additional medium skills include clairsentience (the ability to gain information / communication from beyond the grave through touch and feeling) and clairaudience (the ability to hear what others cannot hear, e.g. voices from spirits).

Psychic readings can take many forms, e.g. some mediums like to use tarot cards in order to gain their psychic insights.  Others will get information for you through spirit guides, or by scrying in crystal balls.

Psychic readings can also be obtained in a variety of ways, e.g. online psychic readings, psychic readings by telephone and psychic readings in person.  Psychic readings in person can either by booked one-on-one or can be through a public group session with a psychic medium.

Online Psychic Readings are usually conducted by email and paid for in advance.  The type of reading varies from one psychic to another, but usually you are invited to ask one or more questions, which will be answered during your reading.  If you are attempting to contact a friend or relative who has passed, you will usually be asked for their name but shouldn’t be asked for any additional information such as date of birth.  Be wary if you are asked to give too much information – there are fraudsters out there who will simply research the person you are enquiring about.

Telephone Psychic Readings can either be booked at an agreed time in advance, or you can call ‘hotlines’ where you could be passed to one of several psychics, depending on who is available.  You will usually have the opportunity to ask specific questions during the session.  Prices can vary from being a fixed price for a session, or priced per minute so the call can be as long or as short as you like.

Visiting a psychic medium in person is the most traditional way to obtain a reading, although it is now less convenient than telephone or online readings and can also be less common, depending on where you live. Usually booked in advance, you will either book a one-on-one session or a public group session. During a group session, the medium will try to contact whichever spirits are available so this may or may not be someone connected to you. If you do a one-on-one sitting, you are more likely to be able to connect with someone you know (although it is never guaranteed). You can also book one-one-one psychic readings for fortune telling and divination using methods such as tea leaves, tarot and scrying with crystal balls. If booking a personal psychic reading in person, again be wary of having to give too much information in case you are dealing with a charlatan who will simply research you and your family.
