Each year in Clemson, South Carolina one college football team makes wave in the college football world. The Clemson Tigers are on of the top teams in the ACC which is most definitely saying something, considering the fact that other in conference rivals include the likes of Florida State, and Georgia Tech. This year's Clemson football schedule looks to be yet another exciting year for the Clemson Tigers, especially at the home games when the players right down the stairs at memorial stadium and touch what is known as Howards Rock. You are probably thinking that this is definitely going to be a touch schedule for this years Clemson team and I would have to agree with you. Although the Tigers have been able to pull out several big time victories over the past few years, teams such as Miami, Florida State, Wake Forest, and Maryland all look to be making strides towards dominance in the ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference). At the end of the day it would be near impossible to pick winners in losers for this years upcoming football season, but I were asked to take a guess at the record of the Clemson Tigers this year by simply looking at their 2009 football schedule, I would have to guess 6-6. For some times a .500 record which I believe is good enough for a bowl bid is satisfactory but for the Tigers it is definitely sub par. Though the teams mentioned previously look to be preparing like never before and they are definitely sick and tired of loosing to the tigers every year. It will be a fun season to watch for all teams, but by simply looking up at the 2009 Clemson football schedule I do not believe they will have a better than .500 record this year.
