"Clickbank secrets and how to make money with High Gravity Products"

For anyone looking at getting involved in the online affiliate marketing network "clickbank" this is a must read.  A lot of people will join up with Clickbank and never make a single cent with them or at best a couple dollars here and there.  So many people fail for several reasons such as giving up without giving it a proper go, wrong products, marketing in the wrong ways etc.

A lot of people believe that in order to make money with Clickbank they have to find products that noone or hardly anyone is yet marketing.  This can be true in some cases but there are so many products on Clickbank that the chances of you stumbling upon such a product can be near impossible. 

As you are probably aware already there is a few columns on Clickbank under each product.  These are:

Sale price: This is how much commission you will make off of that sale.

Future: This is for products that have recurring billing / backend sales.

Total Sale: 1 + 2 combined , a lot of them on Clickbank will not have anything in this column

Percentage sale: This is the percentage of the sale that you will make off the total price.  Some Clickbank Products will give you 50% of the end sale, others can give you as much as 75%

Percentage referred: This is how many people have been referred by Affiliates.  Say this is 80% in this column, that means that 80% of all sales have been sent via affiliates and the other 20% can be from direct sales.

Gravity: This is how popular an item is, sometimes you will see a gravity of around 550, these are very popular items.  A lot of people dont like to touch such products because the market is saturated.  Personally I like to market products around the 400 mark. These items are very popular and saturated if using Google Adwords usually, but you need to think outside the box and other ways to market them.  The reason I say to go for these products is that they have already proved to be popular so they must be doing something right.

Ok so having gotten all of that out of the way.

Signup for a clickbank account as an affiliate is 100% free.  If you were a publisher (a person who creates an ebook/product to sell on clickbank there is a one off charge of $50)

There are so many different ways to market with Clickbank but a lot of people only think of Google Adwords when it comes to marketing.  While this can be a profitable method, if the product you are marketing is already saturated on Google then you are already losing possible sales.  Also on top of that the price you would be paying for Keywords to do with that product may be high. 

Alternative ways are selling through your own established website (if you have one).  Craigslist can also be very good and has huge amounts of daily traffic.  You could write a hub just like this very one on Hubpages.
