Club La Costa at Monterey, Tenerife

Holiday in Tenerife, Spain

One of my favourite holiday destinations is Tenerife. We went to Tenerife in 2004 using my father in law's timeshare. We stayed at Club La Costa at Monterey.

Tenerife is a very touristy type place. It's a Spanish Island and one of the largest Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean. You won't go hungry over there, they have a lot of bars and restaurants.

We didn't only go there to dine in restaurants or swim in the pool/beach. We actually enjoyed a lot of excursions, such as, visiting Jungle Park, Loro Park, riding in a catamaran. We also experienced jeep safari excursion and attended a Medieval Knight Theme Night excursion and other excursions.

If you like a touristy type place, I recommend Tenerife but don't expect it to be too cheap. Check out lastminute.com or expedia.com for a cheap holiday package.

Anybody who knows a cheap or reasonably price package holiday, please feel free to add them here.

I love Tenerife and one of my favourite resorts is Costa Adeje in the South. It's just next to Playa de las Americas but much more classy and quieter, with a good selection of four- and five-star hotels. There are some pretty full-on reviews of Costa Adeje hotels on the Suntrap Holidays website:
