They are also extremely well-made, from high-quality leather and strong metal rivets. The leather used to make Coach bags is known as "glove-tanned" and over time changes color, giving it a rich, lustrous patina. Each new range or style incorporates special details such as hardware, double-needle stitching or bound edges.

If looked after properly Coach handbags will last well over 15 years. There are in fact some original Coach bags dating back to the 70s that are still in good condition even though they have been in regular use for over 30 years.
