Cold Weather Auto Heaters
91
Winter and cold weather will be here before you know it. So time to buckle up and get your heating apparatus ready to winterize your vehicle. Popular car heaters and other accessories people use for warming up follow. See if you use any of these or want any, or even have more to offer us!
Car & Engine Heaters & Defrosters
There are many types of heating units for cars, both for the interiors and to heat up engines while defrosting windows at the same time. For example, you can get the American Red Cross ARC1006 Auto Heater/Defroster 12-volt unit that mounts inside your car and heats up the interior fast.
You could opt for an American Auto Accessories Portable Vehicle Heater 12V DC Portable Heater Defroster 200 Watt that plugs right into your cigarette lighter. Defrost your windows fast.
Or how about a magnetic heater? Plug in a Kats 1153 200 Watt Magnetic Heater and warm up. Only weight about one pound.
Or how about a mobile heater? You could check out the 12V, Heater/Fan with Swing out Handle and move it about, heating your interior.
Or heat the back to help out your children and other passengers. Use a Back Seat Heat Plus 1100 BTU Heater, 12 Volt.
Seat Heaters
Some people, like the newer Volkswagen Beetle owners, are lucky enough to have heated seats. The rest of us can make do, though, and use accessories like the Venture 12V Heated Car Seat Cover-Per Pair or Wagan Heated and Deluxe Heated Seat Cushions that you just plug into your cigarette lighter and use.
Feet Heaters
Let's not forget the feet! Heat your toes with battery power. Try Lectra Battery Heated Socks or Nordic Gear Battery Heated Lectra Sox. Sure, others may laugh at you, but they'll have cold feet and runny noses L
