Ditching DIAL Sessions

As a network marketer in the marketing industry, I believe many network marketers certainly can relate to COLD CALLING. Cold calling is basically calling someone you don't know and pitching your opportunity. The opportunity could be for anything.

Normally, network marketers may speak with novice network marketers or even experienced network marketers about their opportunity. When the network marketer speaks about their opportunity, there's always a speech about the greatness of the opportunity and how it can help. But, in my opinion as a network marketer, if the opportunity is marketed improperly no one will ever see the advantages. You have to remember as a network marketer, new and old marketers alike don't have the mindset to do the marketing strategies of the past, such as COLD CALLING. Cold calling can really be the beginning and end of any network marketer who doesn't have a strong will to overcome rejection. Basically, network marketers are forcing many people to be something their not.

My Experience:

As an experienced network marketer, I've experienced cold calling and much more. First, I want to let you the reader know, I don't have anything against cold calling. I just know it wasn't for me.... The idea of calling someone to pitch my opportunity seemed very awkward. If you can relate continue reading. I would get nervous, cold feet, and even sweaty palms before DIALS. So I thought I needed listen to my upline do their cold calling to get the courage. To a certain degree it worked, but I still felt uncomfortable. I would pick up the phone make the dial and hang up. I would try it again and again, but I never got the courage to follow through. So, I continued listening to my uplines do their calls. The calls seemed so easy to do. The uplines even expressed the easiness of it and said it's all a process,"You just need to GET IT DONE". Although this was said, I knew there had to a better way to get qualified leads. I just didn't know the way so, I continued with my 2 hour DIAL sessions.

Finally, I had a break through, where I was able to pitch my opportunity, but guess what? No one was interested in the opportunity. So, I continued with the dial sessions, although it still felt uncomfortable. I also, continued probing for something else. One day I expressed the same concerns to a business partner and he shared some information that is completely controversial to the network marketing industry. I reviewed the resources that was given to me, After analyzing the resources, I knew I had found the answer to my desiring thoughts.

All I was able to say was "Hallelujah"!

I realized as a network marketer, after educating myself, I had nothing to offer to my potential clients. The call I made was all about me and how I thought I could change their current situation by opting them into my opportunity. I didn't know there was more to attracting qualified leads.

Attracting Qualified Leads?

Attracting qualified leads, a network marketer has to focus directly on a target market . A target market is basically, a client that is looking for your opportunity or better yet a chance to learn new skills. Those skills acquired can be truly be mind blowing, if the network marketer is truly looking to expand and gain knowledge about the marketing industry.

Have you ever wondered how someone can get an unlimited number of clients into their virtual office? If so, this is where attraction marketing plays a part in the network marketing world. Instead of the network marketers going through the agony and stress of COLD CALLING, the network marketer would educate themselves about the virtual office and the creativity of the virtual office. In this world, the network marketer can present him or herself to be valuable to clients by just being themselves.

Remember as Ralph Waldo Emerson says "To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.."
