Seeing is believing, which is why you MUST watch the video (below) of Elizabeth being almost instantly soothed by Colic Calm Gripe Water, and then falling asleep (in under 10 minutes)!
The same thing almost always happens with our son (if he doesn't fall asleep he's awake and content)!

Gosh, that picture (to the left) was exactly what I was going through - and at 3am, like it says! It is definitely a gut-wrencher when you go to the pediatrician and they basically tell you "it's colic - deal with it" (but of course, in a much nicer way). You're on the brink of emotional break down and have succumb to crying, but think there must be a solution.
In desperation to soothe my baby and preserve my sanity, I searched the internet for an answer to our sons colic. I found Colic Calm and it has been like a life preserve. It's not a 100% proven miracle worker, but it's been working for me and, according to the website, satisfied 93.5% of it's Yahoo polled users. Plus, it's a homeopathic remedy that's much safer than many other gripe waters or prescription drugs .

It's no fun dealing with a colicky baby. Luckily, for me, I had been through it once before, with my oldest son, so I kind of prepared myself for the worst and just assumed our second child would have the same problem.
I finally discovered, through my own research (despite, then, being told by the pediatrician it was just colic), that our oldest son actually had infant reflux (AKA Gerd). Reluctantly, he was then given a prescription of Zantac. I hated him being on any kind of drug so I looked for something else that was more natural and found liquid zeolites.
The liquid zeolites actually worked pretty well (it actually works similarly to how Colic Calm works since it traps the gas). Fortunately, our oldest outgrew the infant reflux at about 4 months of age. Yet, unfortunately, our second child now has the same problem with infant reflux and gas.
Before trying the liquid zeolites I also tried buying Gripe Water and even attempted to make my own. There are quite a few different Gripe Waters on the market, but most of them contain baking soda, which is not safe for children under 12, and can be bad for childrens health. Also, many of them are not regulated and one popular one has even recently been recalled.
What's great about Colic Calm is it not only treats the sympoms, but also attacks the problem at the source. It even helps with hiccups. Below is some info (most of which I copied from the site) about the product...
Colic Calm is the ONLY gripe water that delivers:
- FDA Regulated and Approved Medicine, unlike common dietary supplements (why is this important?)
- Guaranteed Effectiveness or Your Money Back (30 day, empty bottle)
- Safe and 100% Natural
- No Side Effects
- Manufactured in the USA using only the highest quality natural ingredients (fennel, peppermint, lemon balm, chamomile, caraway, ginger, blackthorn, aloe, vegetable carbon)
- Completely free of alcohol, sugar, simethicone, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), herbal oils and extracts, citric acid, wheat, gluten, soy, dairy, and animal products (why we don't include these in our formula?).

Baby Colic Calm miraculous Gripe Water, sealed bottle

The only setback for me is the price of Colic Calm - usually at $18.95 per bottle, which is 2 fl. oz. and about 20 doses. I do occassionally find it on eBay for a little cheaper, but it is definitely worth it because it really works (for us)! I also discovered a little trick that allows you to get at least $4 back on each purchase.
Of course, if you're trying to save money, you can always attempt to make your own gripe water, like I did, although it wasn't quite as effective, was hard to do when the baby was crying, and began to get a little frustrating.
Try Colic Calm today!
I'm not sure what stores carry Colic Calm and it is hard to find out since the website doesn't list any online or local retailers. I called around to some of my local health food stores and wasn't able to find it so I just ordered from the site or eBay, where it's sometimes cheaper.
In fact, from what I know, the company only ships to the USA. So if you are in any other worldwide country, the only way I know of you being able to get Colic Calm is via eBay or a web store that stocks and ships worldwide.
